Wedding decor at Villa Bellissima in Pedregal

It’s hard to follow up a compliment as perfect as that one, but we’re going to try! Meghan was a fun, detail-oriented bride who was referred to us after their original wedding planner was no longer available. Along with the fabulous Julianne and Lisa from A Matter of Taste Catering, we took this bride from being worried about her plans coming together after such a setback to loving her décor so much that she said we were “the best thing that could have happened!”

Pedregal weddings are always breathtaking because every property in this exclusive community features the utmost in luxury and amenities. Meghan and her groom Anthony were married on the beach and hosted their reception at the Villa Bellissima, a 24,000 square-foot private villa. Meghan’s wedding décor was beachy yet sophisticated. She kept her colors earthy, with off-white, lino and burlap tones. The flowers provided a romantic pop of color through soft peach and apricot hues. A few of the custom pieces we designed for this wedding included the table numbers, the cake table and the mason jars. The bride’s mother made the burlap menus by hand to perfectly coordinate with our décor.

We suggested a fun twist on Meghan’s table layout for the private villa wedding reception— a combination of round and square tables for guest seating that she simply loved. And the beach ceremony featured shoe stations with a chalkboard instructing guests to kick off their shoes. The chalkboard was a brand new design piece for us and was such a lovely detail that fit perfectly with Meghan’s vision.
We must send a special thank you out to Gaby Cobian from Vivid Occasions for her invaluable assistance with Meghan and Anthony’s ceremony. Gaby, Julianne and Lisa, we couldn’t have done it without you!

A destination wedding can take months—sometimes even years—to plan. Most brides have the highest standards and are very particular about the details that go into making their wedding day just perfect. Therefore, we are especially delighted when one of our brides writes to us after the ceremony with a glowing compliment.

Like many brides, Monica had a special vision for her wedding day and she really loved the planning process. This stunning beauty wanted a Cabo ceremony that included both the fun of a beach wedding and the elegance of a stylish sit-down reception. We just knew after speaking to Monica on the phone that our event design company, Linens, Things and More, would be the perfect fit to create an unforgettable evening for this bride-to-be!

Our experience working with nearly every resort in Los Cabos allows us to specifically tailor each event to fit the desires and the budget of our couples. Whenever possible, we use as much as we can from the venue and accent their items with our own higher-end pieces. This gives the entire setting the look our brides wish for at a cost they can afford. But no matter what happens on-site, we never sacrifice quality in our planning—even if this means we must make a last-minute change to the overall design. We want our brides to feel confident knowing our sense of design will always come before any limitations their venue might have in terms of furniture and décor.

For Monica and Patrick’s reception, we used the white linens provided by Esperanza Resort and worked closely with Cabo Floral Studio to achieve the look Monica dreamed of for her reception. The tall white centerpieces really stood out against the deep violet table runners, and we made a special purple sweetheart table that further celebrated the bride and groom during their reception.

Monica was so pleased with her reception design, she wrote about us again in another thoughtful compliment:

“My experience with Suzanne and her staff is one I will never forget. The planning process and the day of the wedding was so special to me and I will be forever grateful to all of you for that. Thank you so much for everything.”

High end wedding decor at the Barcelo Los Cabos

When we started working on our first wedding decor and design with Jaime at Travel & Event with Style who knew we will end featured in WedLuxe the wedding reference magazine. What a sweet couple Kristen & Jordy, and such a nice family!

Linens, Things and More… really had a blast working with such a great team of wedding vendors. Of course Jaime Valdes-Riench for the coordination, but not to forget Ariadna and Abigail at the resort Barcelo Los Cabos, the professional hair stylists and make-up artists from Suzanne Morel Face & Body Care, the amazing flowers and dance floor by Rene Larios from Cabo Floral Studio, the great ceremony by Marco Arechiga, the music by Marcie Castro Pianist & DJ, and last but not least the memorable wedding pictures by Sugar and Soul Photography.

We all love the combination of the lime green and purple, perfect for this location!

Colorful wedding decor at The RIU Palace in Cabo!

When Ashley sent us some pictures of her bridesmaids dresses, their wedding invitation and the flowers she wanted we thought: fun, fun, fun….

Ashley, make-up artist for MAC cosmetic, and Phil, her fiance, were so nice and we really had to work on a short notice but we were determined to do anything we could to make them happy! So we started brainstorming: how we would combine the turquoise, the purple, the coral with the gold and the bamboo and turn this wedding in one of the most colorful wedding design at the RIU Palace.

Beautiful wedding week end at Villa Carlos!

Thanks to Luis at Luxury Cabo Rental and after 9 months working on their wedding decor Abigail and Eric’s big day was finally here…

It was great to be able to work with such an amazing team, the house Villa Carlos by Luxury Cabo Rental is such a beautiful property for wedding with a private beach where we did the ceremony. The flowers by Rene at Cabo Floral Studio were simply gorgeous. The hair and make-up by Suzanne Morel ended up super pretty as well. We can’t wait to see the professional pictures by Gabriela Mohar. Thank you Adriana from About Love Cabo as well for taking such a great care of the final details on the day of the wedding.

Thank you to all the wedding professionals who visited us last month at Villa Marcella, Pedregal, for our second wedding showcase. We were glad to introduce our new linen collections and to see all of you so exited about these designs.

At Linens, Things and More… we know 2012 will be a fantastic year for destination weddings in Cabo and we are so happy to see so many wedding vendors ready to bring new options to Los Cabos as far as furniture rental and decor. There will be so many more possibilities for the brides and grooms to choose from! Every event design will be unique!

We wanted to extended a huge Thank you for the hard work of all the vendors who contributed to make this event a success: The villa was outstanding and the lay out for events was just perfect (Cabovillas.com)!

Eggplant and off white intimate wedding decor at Esperanza Resort…

What we love about our linens design is that they can be for very large events as they can fit any intimate celebration…

Back in december we created a very special decor for Sandy’s wedding at the Esperanza resort thanks to Claudia Morales. It was a smaller wedding and it looked amazing!

The Fabulous wedding decor of Tabitha at Cabos Azul resort: Black and white with a touch of Pink!

Our biggest wedding set-up so far in 2011 and what a total success!

Everything was just perfect:

The linens, the lounge and cocktail layout, the lights, were so elegant and unique, the choice of fabrics, the black and white combined with a touch of pink made it so special! We even created just for the couple what we now name the “TAT wall” ideal to seperate two areas from an event with a wall of light and we’ll make the color match your wedding design!

The hair and make-up by Suzanne Morel Face & Body Care were incredible and made everyone look special.

The Flowers from Cabo Floral Studio were outstanding! We love the combination of the hot pink colored water, the crystals, the feathers and the billion orchids coming straight fromHolland!

The team of Cabo Azul resort was so helpful: Thank youGeorgina, Rosalinda, Maria and all the staff of banquet…
